MCA Denver TeCo & PlatteForum ArtLab Youth video project

Teens from MCA Denver TeCo and PlatteForum ArtLab worked with artist Katie Watson during her eight-week residency to create videos for fake anti-aging products as part of her installation. About Teen Video: From our multitude of ideas we chose 4 products designed to halt, ease and reverse the anti-aging process. We chose to create an infomercial to showcase these pieces thinking that the best way to express how ridiculous the prospect of altering the natural process would be to utilize the most ridiculous form of advertising out there. “The things you don’t need” network acted as our infomercials home and a comedy was born.
